MARILYN SEX TAPE : A PUBLICITY STUNT?

Could the recently-discovered 15-minute "sex tape" starring Hollywood sex siren Marilyn Monroe be a hoax? News reports have just surfaced which bring the validity of the salacious tape into question, as well as the reputation of the man who discovered the long-forgotten footage.

Publicity stunt? The sex tape, which reportedly shows the Some Like It Hot bombshell performing oral sex on an unidentified man, was sold to a New York businessman earlier this month for a whopping US$1.5 million.

Speculation has been rife that the unidentified male sharing the footage with Monroe may have been either John F. Kennedy or his brother Bobby. The truth is, we'll never know. Aside from the fact that the collector who bought the tape says he plans to keep it "locked up", the face of the man on the receiving end Monroe's "advances" is out of shot.

But now website defamer is questioning the existence of the tape, citing that not enough evidence exists to validate that the sale of the footage took place. Furthermore, the website claims that Keya Morgan, the memorabilia collector who came across the footage, has a history of twisting the truth to promote his own work. Defamer says Morgan has refused to disclose the names of either the buyer or seller of the reel, and goes on to describe Morgan as a "press hungry namedropper whose main objective is to promote himself and the Monroe documentary that he is working on".

In the article for the gossip website, a Monroe expert claims: "What Keya Morgan is promoting equates to questionable stories generated simply to sell another book or push another cheesy documentary. In the same article, the writers allege that Morgan claims he has dated none other than Mariah Carey and Renee Zellweger.

"In general Mr. Morgan was a name dropper, especially when it came to those notorious for supporting the conspiracy theories involved with the story of Marilyn Monroe. However, he wove into our conversation his claim that he dated Mariah Carey and Renee Zellweger."

Warner Bros Entertainment and Universal Orlando Resort tonight finally gave out details to what I first reported back on April 13th: "The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter" is coming to Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park in late 2009. The two Hollywood entertainment companies also released these 3 first official artist renderings of the new theme park -- and in my opinion they're are spectacular! The pair of studios are partnering to "create the world’s first fully immersive Harry Potter themed environment" envisioned as a "theme park within a theme park" and based on the best-selling books by J.K. Rowling and blockbuster feature films from Warner Bros. "Over the years we’ve received thousands of letters from fans around the world wishing they could visit Hogwarts and the wonderful locations described in each of J.K. Rowling’s beloved stories,” Barry Meyer, Warner Bros Entertainment chairman/CEO said in the press release embargoed for tonight. Aishwarya To Star As Buddha’s Wife?

There is news that Aishwarya Rai was being considered for the role of Buddha’s wife Yashodhara in the film titled ‘Buddha’ – which will be produced by Paris-based NRI director Pan Nalin.

Her phenomenal performance in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, has won her a lot of international fans.With a lot of historic international films coming her way.

Director Pan Nalin who made it real big for his internationally acclaimed Buddhist crossover film Samsara, is reported to have met with the Bollywood beauty and has discussed the script of the film with her.

‘Samsara’ is about the story of a monk, who leaves his monastery in Ladakh after meditating for years to experience the pleasures of matrimony and returns to his cloister after undergoing the trials and tribulations of a commoner’s life.

However, Nalin’s other crossover movie “The Valley of Flowers”,did not receive much international acclaim like his earlier movie. Unfortunately this film did not do well at the Indian box-office also.

Not defeated by this defeat, Palin has come up with another storyline, this one being about Lord Buddha. Impressed by Ash’s performance in Jodha Akbar, Palin found her to be suitable for the Yashodra’s role.

Though the director has met with Aishwarya and has narrated the story, the lady in question has maintained a dignified silence, so one cannot come to any conclusion now.

Nalin has penned the script in collaboration with Hollywood-based scriptwriter Tinker Lindsay. “Aishwarya has not yet said anything. But I am hopeful that she will agree to it. It is scheduled to go on the floor in August this year,” Nalin said.

It is also believed that this film ‘Buddha’ will be directed from Yashodhara’s angle. So Ash has got a big pie in hand. Let’s see if she takes up this project.

Also let’s hope that we don’t get bored seeing her do the same old traditional roles time and again.

Antonio argued over ageism and sexism at a Los Angeles Film Festival’s tribute, using his wife, Melanie Griffith, 50, as the example of the way the entertainment industry uses discriminatory practices.

Banderas went on to state, “It may seem a little harsh to say this, but this town is like a factory that needs fresh flesh, and once actresses become 40 or 50 they are forgotten.” I guess Mr. Desperado wont take no for his women! “That’s the opposite of Europe where actresses like Simone Signoret are respected as they age and work until they die.”

Griffith’s career is not completly over yet. She’s been activly working voice-work for TV and film. Antonio has also received a good amount of voice work, his continuing work on Puss in Boots voice for “Shrek Goes Fourth” and “Puss in Boots,” just announced and set to open in 2010.

Antonio Banderas tells Hollywood: Grow up! And be nice to Melanie Griffith

He took Tinseltown to task for ageism and sexism at his Los Angeles Film Festival's tribute, using his wife, Melanie Griffith, 50, as a prime example of the entertainment industry's discriminatory practices.

"My wife Melanie is one of the most important comedic actresses in America but Hollywood sometimes can be extremely cruel with women as they age," Banderas, 47, told the L.A. Daily News at the Hammer Museum in Westwood on Tuesday.

"I would listen to her questions and give her advice but I wouldn't want Stella to become an actor today because it's a very difficult and complex profession. The ups and downs due to the pressure in Hollywood can really be painful and a lot of young people can't face the challenges and can lose their minds."

Much much before the movie is released, people can predict that Ghajini is definitely going to be a good movie.
